📜 A Letter from Seren

left for those who have returned
📚

To the one who has returned,

You closed the book. You stepped back through the door. And now you are here, in the cool evening air, with the scent of old pages still clinging to your sleeves.

I do not know which life you looked at. I do not need to know.

But I want to tell you this:

The library does not choose for you. It never has. It only shows you what you already carry — the lives you have imagined, the ones you have feared, the ones you have quietly mourned without knowing their names.

You did not take a book with you. That was not a loss. That was a choice.

And choices, even small ones, are how we become who we are.

You may not feel different. You may not see a new path ahead. But something has shifted — a door that was closed is now open, even if only a crack.

That is enough.

That is more than enough.

You are not late. You are not lost. You are exactly where you need to be.

And if you ever forget that — come back. The library will still be here. The door will still open.

Not because you need to choose again. But because you might need to remember that you already have.

With quiet warmth,
Seren
